If you’re struggling to decide just where to go, check out our suggestions for your 2014 summer vacation destination.

The Dalí Museum (Saint Petersburg, FL)

Art enthusiasts will love this eclectic museum, which sits on the waterfront in Saint Petersburg in a concrete cube surrounded by a vibrant garden. The museum is packed with 96 of Dalí’s surrealist oil paintings and more than 1,300 other works of art. When you’re done touring the museum, St. Petersburg boasts plenty of other activities, including award-winning golf courses, shows at the Mahaffey Theater and a bustling downtown area.

Baseball Hall of Fame (Cooperstown, NY)

Crazy about baseball? Take a trip up to Cooperstown to visit the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, which is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year. You may want to align your visit with the Hall of Fame Induction Weekend 2014, which is planned for July 25-28 and includes the induction of the six newest members of the HOF. More than 50 Hall of Famers are expected to return that weekend.

BlueClaws Games (Lakewood Township, NJ)

Speaking of baseball, why not catch a couple of BlueClaws games a little closer to home? With clearer vision, you’ll be able to enjoy every pitch, hit and catch! The minor league team, which our practice proudly sponsors, will be playing throughout the summer. Don’t miss the special fireworks shows scheduled for July 2 and 3.

Lollapalooza (Chicago, IL)

One of the country’s best music festivals, this year’s Lollapalooza line-up includes Eminem, Outkast, Kings of Leon, Arctic Monkeys and more. Tack on a few extra vacation days before or after the festival to explore the beautiful city of Chicago and all of its cultural and gastronomic opportunities.

NASCAR Hall of Fame (Charlotte, NC)

Speed demons will love the NASCAR Hall of Fame, which features attractions like 15 racing simulators and a pit-crew challenge. Learn more about NASCAR’s roots through a presentation in the High Octane Theater, or saunter down the Great Hall to look at rotating displays or catch an appearance by a famous driver. Charlotte is home to one of the country’s largest airports, making it very accessible from all areas.

The Poconos (Pennsylvania)

Rent a rustic cabin or book a luxurious resort deep in the heart of the Poconos Mountains. Get in touch with nature through outdoor activities like kayaking, hiking, biking and horseback riding. No glasses required!

Dubrovnik (Croatia)

Looking for an international destination? Try Dubrovnik, Croatia, a beautiful and historic locale known as “The Pearl of the Adriatic.” If you’re a fan of the wildly popular show “Game of Thrones,” you’ll have an even greater appreciation for the city, where some of the series’ most memorable scenes have been filmed.
