LADARVision 4000 Laser
The Autonomous laser or LADARVision is helping us achieve the best results in Laser Vision Correction we have experienced so far. The LADARVision laser radar tracker can track eye movements 4,000 times per second, and has the only FDA-approved claim for improved accuracy in corneal shaping. LADARVision uses a small-spot beam of less than 1 mm, which is moved rapidly around the cornea in a computer-controlled pattern of tiny, non-sequential, overlapping spots. This helps create a smooth postoperative corneal surface. Combining this technology with Custom Cornea® we now have the ability to obtain a new level of vision for our patients. We can also decrease or improve problems with night vision unlike before.
