Dr. William Greenberg
For more than 33 years, it has been my privilege to help improve, preserve and protect my patients' vision. I graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1977 and am a member of the International Optometric Honor Society, Beta Sigma Kappa.
After graduation, I entered private practice in Mercer County, where I emphasized both geriatric as well as contact lens care. In 1994, I became one of the first optometrists in the state of New Jersey to be board certified in the treatment of external eye disease. Since that time I have cared for thousands of patients with glaucoma, eye infections, ocular injuries and other sight-threatening conditions.
In 1997 I joined the InVision Eyecare team with Dr. Edward Hedaya in Lakewood, New Jersey. I truly enjoy providing vision and medical eye care, knowing that I can have a positive impact on the lives of my patients. When you improve a person's vision, you improve their life, and I am fortunate to be able to do this many times each day! In 2001, when Dr. Hedaya performed laser refractive surgery on my then very nearsighted eyes, my life improved dramatically. I personally came to realize how wonderful it is to be able to enjoy the freedom that is possible when one can see clearly without visual aids.
I am married and have two wonderful sons. My wife is also a doctor, a podiatrist, and the license plate on our car reads "EYEHEEL."
