OptiLASIK
Dr. Hedaya performs LASIK eye surgery using the state-of-the-art OptiLASIK system. OptiLASIK incorporates the leading-edge Allegretto Wave Eye-Q Laser for both diagnosis of refractive errors and precise, individually tailored treatment.
Using the latest Wavefront-Optimized diagnostic technology, the Allegretto Wave Eye-Q Laser allows Dr. Hedaya to create a three-dimensional “map” of the patient’s eye. Just like a fingerprint, each patient’s eye is unique in its shape and other characteristics. Using the unique 3-D map allows Dr. Hedaya to deliver precise treatment, thereby obtaining the best possible vision correction results for each patient.
Speed and Precision of the OptiLASIK System
Besides its personalized diagnostic capabilities, OptiLASIK laser vision correction offers speed and precision. It is as much as 100 times faster than other surgical lasers. It also has a “spot size” of less than a millimeter, further enhancing its accuracy. The OptiLASIK eye tracking capability is eight times faster than some other lasers, which minimizes the risk of error should the patient’s eye shift during the procedure. The revolutionary OptiLASIK system also adapts to the unique curvature of the eye, reshaping it more closely to an ideal and natural shape. In some patients, the surgical process of reshaping the cornea with the OptiLASIK system may take as little as 10 seconds.
