Dr. Hedaya has acquired a unique three-dimensional scanning device that is specifically designed to provide accurate data for both of the corneal surfaces and the anterior chamber in the form of relative elevation topographic surfaces.
Elevation topography of both corneal surfaces enables us to more accurately visualize the shape of abnormal corneas, which leads to better and more consistent surgical results.
We will also introduce you to the feeling of Laser Vision Correction. We think this is important to you as a patient.
Please be aware that in order for us to best assess how much laser will be applied to your eye, it is important to leave your soft contact lenses out of your eyes at least one week (preferably two). If you wear hard contact lenses they should be out for at least three weeks prior to your visit. Contact lenses distort your cornea and can give us false readings with our sensitive instrumentation.
